We are thrilled to extend our deepest gratitude for your incredible support at our recent "Denim and Diamonds: A Toast to Women's Winemakers" fundraising event. Thanks to your generosity, the evening was a resounding success, filled with fun, celebration, and heartfelt moments that will make a lasting impact on the lives of many women in our community.

The night was alive with the energetic sounds of the Country Cougars country band, and it was a joy to see so many of you kicking up your heels during the line dancing sessions. The silent and live auctions were a highlight, with some truly exciting bids that brought a buzz of excitement to the room. Our wine panel with Laura Ray of Strala Vineyards and Raghni Naidu of Naidu Winery featured inspiring stories from women winemakers who have broken barriers and paved the way for future generations as we enjoyed the selection of wines from their wineries. The variety of delicious chocolates paired for each wine donated by Timothy Adams Chocolates and, of course, the backyard games and delicious buffet dinner added the perfect touch to a night of camaraderie and celebration.

Beyond the festivities, the true success of the evening lies in the impact your contributions will have on women like Funmi, one of our inspiring clients. Funmi was introduced to Dress for Success through a recommendation from CalWORKs during a particularly challenging time in her life. Facing financial difficulties following her daughter’s hospitalization, Funmi turned to Dress for Success for assistance with professional attire. What she found was not only a wardrobe that boosted her confidence but also a community of support that empowered her with career coaching, financial education, and the tools to pursue further education. Funmi’s story is a testament to the life-changing work made possible by your generosity, and she and her family are thriving today because of it.

We also want to give a special shoutout to our photographer, Tony Chew, who beautifully captured the spirit of the evening.
