The Professional Women’s Group Employment Retention Program (PWG) was created to support newly employed women build a network of support to ensure she stays employed for a full year and beyond.
The PWG Program welcomes all employed women to join and meet virtually once a month, every third Tuesday of each month, via Zoom from 6-8 pm.
Topics discussed in the monthly meetings revolve around leadership, health and wellness, personal finance, written and unwritten rules of the workplace, and work-life balance. Each month’s speaker brings on a wealth of knowledge in the field and provides clarity in an otherwise uncertain first year of employment.
After two years, PWG members graduate into the PWG Alumni Program to continue building on their professional networks and are then invited to apply for the Community Action Project.
