Happy Volunteer Appreciation Week!

Volunteer Appreciation Week: April 16-22 

It’s one of our favorite weeks of the year! At Dress for Success San Jose, our amazing team of volunteers work tirelessly to support the women we serve. Volunteers act as personal shoppers in our boutique, career mentors (in person and virtually), clothing donation sorters, expert speakers for our job search and employment retention programs, and so much more. 

We have volunteers who come to us as individuals in the community, corporate teams who volunteer for one-day events, and committee volunteers, who help us on a deeper level with planning our programming and fundraising events. 

Volunteering is a fulfilling opportunity to give back to the community.  To quote one of our individual volunteers, Desiree: “I can learn from the women we serve and they can learn from me.”
